Located along the Richelieu River in the Montérégie area, you'll discover a splendid corner of the country where nature unfolds throughout the seasons. At the present time, the municipality of Noyan has a permanent population of 1063. However, during the summer months, we estimate that the population increases to approximately 3000 if we take into consideration campers, tourists and cottage owners who come to Noyan to enjoy the summer.

Agriculture and tourism are very important factors of our collective economy. For the cheese connoisseur, we recommend you visit the Fritz Kaiser Cheese factory, whose reputation is well established, you will find it on 4th Concession.

Several camp-sites as well as two co-operatives are established along the Richelieu River.
